"The Perennial Issue of the Day for California Employers: Employee Leaves of Absence and Recent Developments"
This seminar will address the employer's obligations under California and federal laws regarding leave entitlements of California employees, including those under the California Family Rights Act, the new Healthy Workplaces Health Families Act (paid sick leave law), the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and recent developments in these areas. Strategies will be suggested for employers to reduce litigation risk in leave management and protocol for addressing leave requests by employees.
