Mike is a Vice President and Client Executive in the Design Professional Practice Group of Dealey, Renton & Associates. He is an insurance broker representative for many of the company’s key client relationships and a frequent speaker at industry associations on insurance and risk management issues. Mike is a member of the ACEC National Risk Management Committee and has most recentlybeen involved in legislative efforts with ACEC California on Senate Bill 496 to limit the duty to defend obligation of design professionals. Mike is a graduate of Oregon State University, a native of Portland, Oregon and currently resides in Lafayette, California with his wife and Golden Retriever.

· Education: B.A., Oregon State University
· Currently holds insurance Licenses in California, Washington, Oregon, Alaska for Property, Casualty, & Surplus lines
· Registered Professional Liability underwriter (RPLU) designation from the professional underwriting society
· Testified before the Washington State Legislature on behalf of proposed Anti-indemnity Legislation (RCW 4.24.115) limiting the defense obligation of design professionals in the
State of Washington
